Mountain Bike Policy |
||||
|
The Bruce Trail has been established as a pedestrian path only. Other uses such as mountain biking and horse back riding are NOT permitted except along designated sections such as road allowances, certain provincial parks (e.g. Forks of the Credit Park) and other multi use trails such as the Trans Canada Trailway (in our area, the Caledon Trailway). Please note that much of the Bruce Trail is located on private land where agreements with land owners prohibit non pedestrian use. Any other use threatens such agreements and the future of the Bruce Trail. The Bruce Trail Conservancy, and the Caledon Hills Bruce Trail Club, thank you for supporting our mission of protecting the Niagara Escarpment and our footpath from Niagara to Tobermory. |
