Mountain Bike Policy
   

The Bruce Trail has been established as a pedestrian path only. Other uses such as mountain biking and horse back riding are NOT permitted except along designated sections such as road allowances, certain provincial parks (e.g. Forks of the Credit Park) and other multi use trails such as the Trans Canada Trailway (in our area, the Caledon Trailway). Please note that much of the Bruce Trail is located on private land where agreements with land owners prohibit non pedestrian use. Any other use threatens such agreements and the future of the Bruce Trail.

For mountain biking in the area, please use the Caledon Trailway, the Elora Cataract Trailway, designated trails in the Albion Hills Conservation Area and Forks of the Credit Provincial Park, or contact:
