Private Landowners in the Caledon Hills Bruce Trail Club

A large part of the Bruce Trail Conservancy's success is because of the support of the many private landowners who kindly give us their permission to cross their land.

Our landowners give us their permission for a variety reasons.

One reason that comes up often is that they believe in and support the Bruce Trail's efforts to create a conservation corridor and foot path along the Niagara Escarpment.

Another reason often given is that they feel they are able to give something good and enjoyable back to the community they live in.

Many of our landowners are or have become hikers by simply using their trail and then discovering the extended network beyond their property.

We really appreciate the generosity of all of our landowners and from time to time organize appreciation events which enable hikers and landowners to meet, get to know each other and allows us to personally say thank you.

The included map shows the landowner appreciation events and articles that we have held so far, just click on the dot and the article will appear
